Glorious breaks, pressure washers and power vacs will comfortably ease you into autumn...

I'm so thankful that Summer came back this morning after the autumnal rain earlier. It will keep the spiders away for a little longer, though I imagine they're already queuing to come inside. Pushing and shoving I expect. We had one last week that was the size of a small pony and it actually glared at me.

Dave and I were so proud that we managed to find the answer to The Sunday Times ‘Where Was I’ competition yesterday. I'm not very good at them and it can take me a few hours, but we got it in two minutes! It's a good one too - you can win a two-night break at The Grove Of Narbeth.

It sounds a bit like somewhere Jesus preached on the mountains, but it's actually a beautiful house in South Wales near the Pembrokeshire coast and was crowned The Sunday Times Welsh hotel of the year in 2020.

There's one prize today that the children would especially love - a Gozney ROCCbox worth £399, which is a little outdoor pizza oven.

And one that my fox-mad daughter Floria would love - a gorgeous garden sculpture of a fox worth £500.
