Hot tubs in the Dominican Republic or tea on the lawn at the stately Hartwell House?

Whoever invented Beauty Awards I'd like to take out to dinner. Every year newspapers run a sort of Oscars for the best beauty products and if you vote for your favourites you are entered into a prize draw for a massive holiday and about thirty five million skincare and makeup prizes.

Fabulous Magazine is running one online at the moment where you can win a luxury £6,000 escape to the Dominican Republic. And there's £17,000 of beauty treats to scoop too. You don't even have to know anything about the individual products. I never even knew that brow pomades were a thing, never mind tried them out, but I just ticked the prettiest-looking items and put in my details. Onwards and upwards!

The Sunday Times prize this week is a two-night stay at the seventeenth-century mansion Hartwell House. King Louis XVIII stayed there with 100 courtiers. Even Dave stayed there on the night before our wedding. And you could be there too this summer sipping tea and champagne on the stripy velvet lawns and enjoying a free gourmet dinner.

I hope you enjoy browsing through your weekend prizes this morning and I hope even more that you win one.

Do let me know how it's going and what sort of prizes are catching your eye at the moment.
