I have to confess that I've had my suspicions about Autotrader for a while now. They used to run a competition to win a different electric car every month. Well, obviously it couldn't be the same one, with lots of different winners trying to drive it.  That would be ridiculous. But here's why I raised an imperfectly plucked eyebrow when ever I saw an Autotrader win a car competition - we never got to hear about the winners. I wrote to ask them but never had a reply, and checking the website this weekend it seems they have paused these competitions. But don't worry because over the next few weeks we've got a chance to win an electric Renault car with the Daily Mail. Sadly you actually have to buy the paper to enter a unique number but on the other hand, there are lots of days so lots of chances. There are more very expensive prizes today too - a £5,000 voucher to choose your perfect holiday and a £3,000 voucher to splurge on the gorgeous Joules DFS sofa collection.
