I know lots of us feel sad when summer comes to an end but I can't wait for autumn this year. With all the heat waves I've had to dab Pinky's ears in cool water every five minutes  and watch my garden shrivel up into a dried husk. At the weekend I was mowing under the fruit trees and saw how many pears and plums we had so I immediately abandoned the mower and went to make a plum crumble (a plumble). And then I thought about all the lovely casseroles and soups we would be making in October. So it was very exciting to see that Gousto has a competition today to win a Le Creuset casserole and a bone china dinner set. It only took about two seconds to enter and just imagine how cosy and wholesome your kitchen would look if you won. There are two prizes today that had me thinking I was seeing double. One is for £700,000 and the other one is (obviously) for £700,000 too! Plus, there are chances to win £120,000 and £75,000 (which includes £15,000 for a dear friend). But despite these huge cash prizes, the most magical part of today's listings is the chance to see the Land of Song Festival with the one and only Andrea Bocelli. I know nothing about classical music, but I know I'd never forget this experience.
