I hope that your weekend weather was as lovely as ours in Leamington Spa. It felt so summery as we planted bluebells under the magnolia tree. Several times as it turned out because Pinky kept digging them up. But looking at the state of the lawn filled me with a deep despair - it's sort of grown back after the heatwaves but the weeds are certainly excelling themselves this year. I've entered to win one of two lawn scarifiers from the Sun today because with these you just push them along and with their engine they do all the hard work. We live in a rural area so our garden is too big to do it any other way. There's also a Cobra MowBot 800X RTK robotic lawnmower worth £800 to win today, though I never understand why they put in all the model numbers when they list a prize like this. They are not my sort of people. As summery as it's been, we can't escape the approach of autumn, and to make it more enjoyable, I think we could do worse than winning a cardamom and amber home scent collection. And while we're at it, there's a choice of Christmas tree for you to win today too. You can never have too many Christmas trees according to the children - but I think one is enough, especially as they are so expensive.
